Sleep and weight are two of the most common reasons patients come to us, and both are closely tied to breathing. This page describes what we evaluate, how the practice works, and where to find the clinic.
The Preston Road corridor
Celina is centered on State Highway 289, Preston Road, and so is our clinic. That highway continues south through Prosper and into Frisco, past our address at 5899 Preston Road. For patients approaching from the west, the Dallas North Tollway is the other route into Frisco.
Sleep concerns we evaluate
Snoring and witnessed pauses in breathing are the presentations most people recognize. Others are quieter: morning headaches, waking unrefreshed, difficulty staying asleep, or blood pressure that has been hard to control.
Insomnia is evaluated in its own right, with attention to what is keeping sleep from settling before any decision about how to treat it.
Lung and airway concerns
Asthma, COPD, chronic cough, recurrent chest infections, abnormal chest imaging, and breathlessness that has changed. Testing is chosen to answer the specific question your history raises.
Weight and metabolic health
Weight management sits alongside the other two specialties, because the overlap is clinically real. Excess weight can affect lung mechanics, and it is one of the recognized contributors to obstructive sleep apnea. Treating sleep apnea can, in turn, make weight treatment easier for some patients to sustain.
